J/AJ/CODE APOP Absolute Proper motions Outside the Plane (Qi, 2013) ================================================================================ Absolute Proper motions Outside the Plane - APOP Z.X. Qi et~al. ================================================================================ ADC_Keywords: Astrometric data Keywords: Proper_motion_Data Description: The APOP is a absolute proper motion catalog derived from Digitized Sky Survey Schmidt plates data established as part of the Second Guide Star Catalog project. The sky coverage is 22,525 square degree, |Galactic Latitude|>26 degree, the mean density is 6444 objects/sq.deg and the magnitude limit is around R=20.5 mag. The systematic errors of absolute proper motions related to the position, magnitude and color are practically all removed by using the extragalactic objects. The zero point error of absolute proper motions is less than 0.3 mas/yr, and the accuracy is better than 4.5 mas/yr for objects bright than R=18.5, and rises from 4.5 to 9.0 mas/yr for objects with magnitude 18.5
