This collaboration is very active in the UKIDSS and more recently VISTA survey. In addition the group is leading a number of observational programs for followup of brown dwarf candidates initially by photometric means.
The majority of these were short one semester programs expect for a Very Large Program on the 3.5m TNG telescope using the NICS and DOLORES telescopes. This is still on going and is providing the selection criteria for the spectroscopic followup on 8m class telescopes. The first results should come out in the middle of 2012. The group has also made an application for the determination of MKO photometry for the NPARSEC targetlist which is presently under consideration.
