CCD SCANCAM

Since 7/2001 the main imaging device for the REOSC has been a Loral CCD provided as part of a collaboration with the DLR of Berlin. During this period the telescope has also been undergoing significant modifications to enable the robotization so while the CCD is fully functional it has not be fully utilized. Once robotization is complete we expect to observe during all possible nights.
