The SHAO Astrometry and Galactic groups consists of 12 full time staff and a number of doctoral and postdoctoral students. The two groups follow a wide variety of subjects from classical astrometry, to instrumentation and in depth galactic modeling. Within these two groups 4 people have expressed an interest to collaborate on this project
